About Us

Western Kentucky Kidney Specialists is a 4 physician practice dedicated to treating disorders of the kidney.  We specialize in Nephrology, which is a branch of medicine dealing with kidney disorders and hypertension.  Our Nephrologists' focus is on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders such as chronic kidney disease (CKD), hypertension, nephritis, and electrolyte disorders.  In addition to being Board Certified in Internal Medicine, our physicians received specialty training in the area of Nephrology.  Utilizing medical therapy and two different modes of dialysis treatment, we can diagnose and treat a multitude of kidney disorders.  


In addition, we refer patients for kidney transplantation and continue to care for the transplant patient after surgery.  Western Kentucky Kidney Specialists is proud to be the local Organ Failure and Transplantation Network Affiliate of the UK Kidney Transplant Center in Lexington.  Our physicians have been appointed as adjunct faculty at University of Kentucky.
